Celebrity Chef Challenge

On Friday, June 5 the 2009 Celebrity Chef Challenge roared into
Sacramento with burners blazing! More than 500 guests from across the
Sacramento Valley gathered at the California Automobile Museum
(formerly the Towe) to watch some of our regions finest chefs compete in a
culinary competition featuring surprise ingredients. -more-

As guests watched the culinary styling's of the competing chefs, they were
treated to samples of food, wine and more from over 60 local vendors
including Hoppy Brewing Company, Berryessa Gap Winery, Mellow Me
Out Day Spa and Fuzio Universal Bistro. -more-

The Celebrity Chef Challenge is an annual benefit for InAlliance, a
nonprofit that provides supported employment, work and life skills
training, supported living and community training programs to people with
developmental disabilities. The current state budget issues and economic
downturn has hit the agency hard, and the monies raised at the 2009
Celebrity Chef Challenge will be used to keep these valuable programs
